This is my first rally! I'm so excited! Keep them coming.

I want to live in Potong Pasir!

You don't have to live there to hear it. Go to their rally and show them some well deserved support.

CCK estate is 18years old and requires an upgrading. Marine Parade estate is even older - more than 20 years old. Why no upgrading before this GE?

CCK new MP "had put culling crows in his agenda". To cull is an act of killing. One will create more negative than positive karma than ever. Out of kindness, may I quote what a monk said: "In Buddhist scriptures, it states that if killing an animal for more than 7 days without purification, it is equivalent to killing a human being."

Symbolism of a Crow
-------------------

Question: What were your first feelings on being recognized as the Dalai Lama? What did you think had happened to you?

D. Lama: I was very happy. I liked it a lot. Even before I was recognized, I often told my mother that I was going to Lhasa. I used to straddle a window sill in our house pretending that I was riding a horse to Lhasa. I was a very small child at the time, but I remember this clearly. I had a strong desire to go there. Another thing I didn’t mention in my autobiography is that after my birth, a pair of crows came to roost on the roof of our house. They would arrive each morning, stay for while and then leave. This is of particular interest as similar incidents occurred at the birth of the First, Seventh, Eighth and Twelfth D. Lamas. After their births, a pair of crows came and remained. In my own case, in the beginning, nobody paid attention to this. Recently, however, perhaps three years ago, I was talking with my mother, and she recalled it. She had noticed them come in the morning; depart after a time, and then the next morning, come again. Now, the evening the after the birth of the First D. Lama, bandits broke into the family’s house. The parents ran away and left the child. The next day when they returned and wondered what had happened to their son, they found the baby in a corner of the house. A crow stood before him, protecting him. Later on, when the First D. Lama grew up and developed in his spiritual practice, he made direct contact during meditation with the protective deity, Mahakala. At this time, Mahakala said to him, “Somebody like you who is upholding the Buddhist teaching needs a protector like me. Right on the day of your birth, I helped you.” So we can see, there is definitely a connection between Mahakala, the crows, and the D. Lamas."

Please call mediacorp as member of the public to say how disgusting we find the misrepresentation of the non-PAP parties during their coverage of the election.

If everyone us call, they will be change. Trust me. Many of the reporters WANT to report the TRUTH! However, they are stopped by their bosses.

We are Professionals & thinking people must do our part by giving them pressure from all sides. We enough pressure and professionals support, the reports will have call in figures to back their desire to want to report the TRUTH.

Many reporters are on our side, many policemen are on our side, they are singaporeans too. We can support them by calling in & writing in.

Let's give them tons of calls and emails to press for TRUTH. We can make a different. Each call can make a different.

How efficient is the system?

When both parties, the Electorate Dept and the candidate could not locate the form, just simply complete and submit another form, afterall it was still before the nomination DAY!!! NO BIG DEAL.

True experience
----------------
When one family received the Progress Package, two working members got the same amount for progress package but one unemployed got few hundreds lesser than the rest. And all of them are staying under the same roof.

This progress package is given out based on the annual value of property and annual income earned by each citizen. The smaller the value of the property and the lesser one earns, one will get more. That is, the poorer you are, the more one gets.

So, the unemployed wrote to Inland Revenue Dept to clarify. Two staff replied the same and said that per their records, the unemployed's income was above certain limit, and therefore, what was given out was correct.

It was truly a shock. The unemployed then wrote back to Inland Revenue Dept to inform them that the unemployed has not been working for several years already and how could their records reflect about the income is XXXXX. The income is nil as confirmed by IR's confirmed letter given for the year.

This happened at end of March and IR replied again that they will check and revert by May.

Again, another incident was one of the same family member has been working in a company and has been contributing CPF every month. But CPF Board could still send to that member of the family to fill up the Self-employed form for her completion every year!!

On another occasion, the same family also received two reminders from the Town Council to pay up their monthly fees when the fees has already been paid.

All this happened in the one same family.

Lift upgrading on every level is indeed the request made by all singaporeans.

This shows that the foresight of HDB is not good. Such lift-landing should in fact be built more than 20 years ago. So, in my point of view, it would be the garmen's responsible to ensure the welfare of every citizens and the upgrading expenses shall be borne by garmen since it is their mistake made in view of their poor foresight. It is thus not fair to exclude the non-PAP constituencies and made them bear such responsibility to pay for the expenses.

Since the lift upgrading cannot be and is no longer considered as an exceptional request made by any particular constituency, this issue should not be even taken as an election topic to discussed upon in the first place because all citizens of singapore pay their taxes and it is the garmen's responsibility to make good use of the funds for the welfare of all citizens, including non-PAP supporters.

And the upgrading has to be on the priority in terms of the AGE of the buildings and NOT by the priority of PAP constituencies per se, followed by non-PAP constituencies.

We, truly hope that the HDB could provide us with a list of building according to their age.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO SG GOVT
