If not the SDP, we the electorate could be forgiven for thinking that times have really changed, and we now have a more enlightened government. It takes the SDP's provocative moves (like speaking without licence, making arguably provocative statements, which incidentally doesn't sound defamatory to me, holding silent 4-man protests) to show that thing have not changed that much after all - the same old wine of intimidation tactics is still very much favoured in the new PAP bottle. The PAP has walked right into this 'trap'. While the SDP may or may not lose votes over this legal action, I'm quite sure all the other opposition parties are going to get more votes from people who were originally undecided as a result of this fallout. In my view, the LKY dialogue was another tactical error as it reminds voters (patrticularly young voters) that behind all the smiles lurks a mean streak waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5539995.post-1146096427494609712006-04-27T08:07:00.000+08:002006-04-27T08:07:00.000+08:00Who are MM and LEE kidding what reputations !!Who are MM and LEE kidding what reputations !!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
